Cultural Witness Leadership Programme: Emerging Leaders - References
Thank you for agreeing to be a reference for one of our Emerging Leaders candidates to begin in September 2024.
The programme that the candidate has been accepted on to is a year-long, and with a cohort of younger people (possibly early career academics, journalists, clergy, creatives etc.) with a gift and calling to communicate the Christian faith in public. The aim is to offer them training and guidance in developing skills in speaking, writing, and presenting Christian faith and ideas to a secular audience. Alongside this, we aim to enable participants to learn how to navigate both new and traditional media platforms and publishing, how to foster valuable connections and expand their professional networks as well as some formational work on character, essential for those developing a profile in public life. We will also look to publish their work on our opinion website Seen and Unseen and give feedback on it as the year progresses. The programme includes a range of workshops, all facilitated by seasoned industry professionals and experts in their field. We believe that this programme will provide valuable insights and help equip them to be part of a new generation of Christian apologists and communicators of the faith in public for the future.
The programme is offered free for those who are successful in the application process and is designed to fit alongside existing jobs or academic pathways.
